What you need is a PARALLEL printer cable.

They come in various lenghts, 6 feet being the most common.

Hi,
the drum is green roller in housing with toner, you should order the drum cartridge for your fax. With new drum you get the how to manual also. Follow the procedure.
NOTE THAT THE DRUM UNIT IS SEPARATE FROM TONER UNIT.

Right!!!
Press 'Function' then 7
Press 'Monitor' seven times
Press '*' (star)then 0

This Gets you into service mode.Scroll down on using Large Round Button until you get one that says Ram Initialize press Start then Scroll down unitil you see All job Clear,then press start again,M/c will reboot and this should clear your memory.

Powerdown once then your memory% should disapear

press function 6-4 start and let that print .. if you have no lines then the machine is the scan glass..

to clean scan glass open the control panel door but not the toner door.. you will see 2 green plastics on either side of the machine.. press them both towards the center and lift..when done properly you will lift the white plastic plate about a 1/4 inch.. tilt that up and clean the glass with windex or alcohol..


if this does not work you need a tech because you scratch the glass

Anthony here. Had a similar problem, fax didn't detect the new toner. The photo sensor does not detect the toner en the fax is new. Put a black tape where the toner slots into the sensor en walla it worked. When the copies become faint I know that the toner is low or over.
