Fax forwarding You might want to set up fax forwarding if you are going on a trip, but still want to receive your faxes while you are away. There are three fax forwarding settings:

• Off (default)
• Forward-When your All-In-One receives a fax, it holds it in memory and then sends it to the fax number that you designate.
• Print and Forward-Your All-In-One forwards the fax to the designated fax number and prints the fax.

To set up fax forwarding:

1. On the control panel, press Fax.
2. Press Options until Fax Forward appears, and then press Select.
3. Use the arrow buttons to scroll to the option that you prefer (Fax Forward or Print and Forward) appears, and then press Select.
4. Enter the number that you want to forward the fax to, and then press Select.

Fwd now appears on the bottom left corner of the display.

is the toner in the machine a ug5510 or ug5580 .. becuase those are the only 2 that will fit.. if those are correct you need to prop up the little black button you see attached to the silver bracket with paper.. or buy a new sensor

its a receiving error code means a computer was trying to fax you and it didnt connect properly

if the machine is a panasonic .. press monitor .. you will see monitor on the machine display.. then press the volume down button .. then press stop when your done

1-- do you have a memory card in it.. if so please remove..

2--If 1 did not work unplug the machine then hold energy saver button down and plug it back in .. should ram initialize... if so use the up arrow and shipment set the machine " when you see shipment set hit start and 2 for no reseting counters..

3-- if step 2 did not work then you have a main board problem

There is a fix for this. But only a Panasonic tech has access to the parts for the fix. The toner sensor underneath must be moved closer to the cartridge, you are not low on toner.

The small tip on the left side of the paper cassette is broken off.

wad up a small piece of electrical tape up and stick it into the black u-shaped sensor hole where the tip used to go in.
