How do I repair my fjords electric swing recliner. reclines fine but makes a terrible clicking sound when it returns to normal rest position. This is only 2 years old
A clicking sound when a recliner returns to its normal rest position can be caused by a variety of issues, including worn gears or loose parts. To repair the issue with your Fjords electric swing recliner, you can try the following steps:
- Check for any visible damage or loose parts. Tighten any loose screws or bolts and secure any parts that may have come loose.
- Locate and clean the gears. If the gears are dirty or have debris in them, the clicking sound may be caused by the gears not meshing properly. Clean the gears with a small brush and lubricate them with light oil.
- Check the recliner's motor. If the motor is not functioning properly, it may cause a clicking sound as the recliner returns to its resting position. If the motor is faulty, you may need to have it replaced.
- Check the recliner's transformer. The transformer is responsible for converting the voltage and can cause the clicking sound if not working properly. If this is the case, you may need to have the transformer replaced.
If you are not comfortable with these steps, or if the issue persists after trying them, it may be best to contact Fjords customer support or a professional technician for further assistance. They may ask you to provide your chair's serial number and other information to help troubleshoot the problem.

My mom's lift chair worked and then when she moved back to it, it doesn't.
Try going back to basics. You might need to tip the whole chair on it's side to access the parts inside the chair.
You've checked for power,Yes. You've listened for the motor, Yes. Now move to where the motor connects to the rise and fall mechanism. Work the motor and listen to where it connects to the rails that lift/lower the chair. Is it making strange noises? Clicks, Rattles, buzzing? Is it heating up? Are the rails trying to move but slipping back as the motor spins?
Some chairs only use One motor, others use Two so check both if there is two fitted.
Comment below with more information and I'll see what help i can give you.

In limit Hold'em and otherflop games players are frequently allowed to make a bet called a straddle bet.The player who follows the big blind and would normally be under the gun canraise before cards before cards are dealt. Players that act after him must callthe raise, fold, or raise the bet themselves. The straddler's raise is live -if no-one else raises, he has the option to reraise after the blinds haveacted.
