Hello Wireko, you can connect any DVD player, which has output for SubWoofer, but you will only hear the bass, through the subwoofer, you would have to connect it to a 5.1 or 6.1 amplifier with their respective speakers, of the brand you want to be able to appreciate the other frequency ranges
hope you have served my suggestion

an f61 error occurs on a Panasonic home theater system when the speaker cable wire connections are wrong. This situation is likely to happen if you just purchased your unit or moved the system and try to reconnect the speakers again. Polarity is key in a successful setup. The positive and negative ends of the cable wires must match the input of the main unit. Retrace your speaker wire connections to clear error F61 I think it's for helpful for you.

This seems to stand for a power system failure. Possible faulty IC's in the power supply, or even a fan that doesn't work.

The SA-PM250 is the main unit of the Panasonic SC-PM250 CD micro Hi-Fi system. Panasonic has the manual for the system on the product page: https://www.panasonic.com/au/consumer/home-entertainment/hi-fi/sc-pm250.html . Click on the Support tab. The current link to the manual is https://www.panasonic.com/content/dam/Panasonic/support_manual/Home_Audio/English_01-rqt0-vqt9/rqt9926-b.pdf .

I hope this helps.

Per Panasonic

Check the speaker connections carefully.

If that does not solve the problem probably a power supply malfunction, so contact the Dealer

Some people suggest cleaning the fans of the TV, as dust and dirt get inside them and clog them up.
If that doesn't work you probably have a power supply problem.

Unless it's a programmable remote it won't have any settings to adjust.
Obvious thing first - you have changed the batteries?
If it is a programmable remote, then you might not have got the right code for the system. This will allow some buttons to work and not others.

One the other hand you can reset to factory settings on your system. This might correct the remote problem.
