What TV or monitor is your DVR620 connected to? There is an Audio button on the original DVR620 remote (not a universal remote), it's just above the TOP menu (displays the Title List for the current video). This lets you access a DVD audio menu or change a VHS playback between Hi-Fi or mono audio out. All other volume changes will be controlled by the controls for your TV or sound system. (This will depend on which video/audio out you have connected. Optical and some RCA audio output choices will be connected to an amplifier or home theater speaker system. If you are using HDMI or component/composite cables to a TV, then the TV speakers are probably active.) Hi, Have you recently updated the firmare on your DVR device ? If so, it could be that Toshiba removed the feature that allows you to copy movie DVDs to attempt to protect the intellectual property of the movie studios. Either that or your DVD provider has removed the feature/capability to engage in that type of DVD copying. Please look into this. Thank you.
