I only get sound when i play dvds
Hi, I wonder if you have gotten the cables and Input selection right. You do not indicate what system you are using to input the Video. There are a few ways it is done, Composite Video, Component Video, and HDMI. The Cables are all used color to color jack to jack, once selected, you must then select the correct EXTERNAL Input. on the TV. You say you have Audio, but no video, you MUST first ascertain, IF your DVD is faulty, the only way to do this is to test on another TV. If you do this and on the "other" set, it is still the same, then the DVD is faulty, always try a few DVD's first too, to make sure it isn't the DVD. Now IF it is OK, you need to then ensure that you are connected up to the Video in OK, if this is all OK, and you are connected up OK, the correct External Input has been selected, and the cables, are, all correct, then unfortunately, there must be a "Fault" on the TV's external input and it will have to be taken in for a service. If so,ask for a "Quote" for the repair before proceeding. Hopefully, it will not come to that, and it is a simple cable mix up.
