I have the exact problem on the exact same model .
HELP ... I have been told it may be a problem with one
of the power supplies on board ??? is this a red herring ?

This may or may not be the solution to your problem, but i'll let you know anyway. Input settings are only accessible when you have a signal going into the projector. This is because the input settings are for adjusting the signal, therefore if there is no signal there is nothing to adjust.

may be the Sony Projector performs the black and white functions only,So kindly get a coloured projector

are there any led lit or flashing? this will say if there is a problem and let you know what it might be. there may be a power supply issue, a cooling fan issue, or a lamp issue that will make the projector shut down by itself.

Check the internal fuse since power is not flowing into the projector and the chord too, which could have been damaged ..........sodeep

Hi there

Check if your lamp is blown by taking it out and looking for any marks or discolouring on the inside of the lamp.

If the lamp looks fine , it could be that your Ballast ( lamp's powersupply ) is faulty.

Highly unlikly that it would be the lamp causing this error.

Sounds like a faulty LCD to me.
