You can't reset it you have a sound problem circuit that needs to be fixed by a qualified tach.

replace the bulb in the tv

Try changing the input device to some other. Look for any loose contacts in RC jacks/sockets/Cable. Check and ensure that the color system selected like PAL/Secam etc. is matching. Try changing the detection of color system to auto mode.

Check its speaker. If it is OK, check and replace the audio output card.

LCD and PLASMA sets do not use them---LCD rear projection sets that have a lamp for the light source use them: light from lamp shines into the engine and picture with color emerges from lens at top of optical engine, it shines into a mirror which projects it on the front screen---Display is LCD but with a mirror it is also rear projection.

You can use the RCA cables to the input of the LCD TV so that the HD can be viewed. If HDMI is available it can be used to connect. The cable line must be connected to the box.

You may have dying power supply or bad solder joints that go bad when heated up.

I'm not sure what input you are using,but make sure, you pick the input you are using thought the menu.

Spark from the GROUND prong? You may have to do the Gnd LEAKAGE testing on the TV.
