no its not based on the settings it is baased on either dpad or analog stick or both ,little water must have gotten inside them ,dust must have gotten in them,so just go to local game store and say them to fix the problem i know to solve the problem but an average man cant do it you should be fully into it

there actually isn't a helicopter cheat. Only Vice City Stories has drivable helicopters.

Nice try, but this does not apply to his or this psp. aka the 3000 series (lite). As of now there is no hack for the lite psp. The solution that chris is posting is for the phat or og psp that first came out. The 1000 series. You cannot go back to 1.50 on a slim psp. Because there was none made with 1.50fw. If you try to downgrade your psp you will brick (kill) your psp. The only way you can d/l games is through sony's psn store and there all psx (PS1 games). And you have to pay. I think you are trying to install a CFW update on an OFW PSP. Just rename 401.PBP to EBOOT.PBP and get rid of the other EBOOT.PBP.

your psp is lets say braindead now. the software is corrupt.. Sony does fix this, if you call them, possibly free if you got warranty, if I remember right and its been a while, they may ask you for 50-150 usd for the fix.

I hear one could repair the problem at home. but you will have to google about that.

If you mean on to the memory stick, as far as I no the only way to do that is to install illegal software that would copy game codes, but I highly disagree with things like that.
If you mean how to put games on your PSP as in into the disk drive, depending on the type of PSP (original or slim) there is either a switch or a button that would open the disk drive. You then put the disk in there and close, and the game should then load under the little handset.
