It's half the cost of the waffle maker.. Poor design.

try to do an exchange at where you got it from. If you are unable to I would go to Home Depot and match it up rather than wait 4-6 weeks to get one from Black and Decker

Depending on how long you have had it, if you still have the receipt or not you might be able to return it to the store you got it at, espically if you got it at a target, k-mart, wal-mart ect, and switch it out for the same one, or sometimes even get your money back.

Also are u making sure your waffel iron is getting nice and hot? if its not at max temp when u poor in the batter it will stick. (most have a light on the outside that will light up, when its hot enough)

Even a non stick with all those surfaces(all the corners and ditches) is gona stick, try brushing with butter if you dont have a butter spay. Let me know how it cooks out goofballlovers

Hi, it might be best to ask for a replacement compatibility appointment from Black & Decker by calling 1 (800) 544-6986. That way they can send someone out to your hour to check where you've attempting to install the handle. Or you might be able to email them the photos for the replacement area for faster results. Either the inner pan is not seated deep enough, or the bushing where the paddle comes through the pan has raised up a bit. Support - Parts for replacement parts on the Black and Decker website.

I have the exact same problem - still no solution - this is the only posting I could find ... anywhere! If I figure out something, I will let you know. I love the steamer, but the beeping is also driving me nuts!
