Aiwa CDC-X517M CD Player Questions & Answers
Aiwa CDC-X517M Car CD Receiver . . .
The part you are looking for is called the "wiring harness" or sometimes called the "dc cord"
The best way to buy this (and you do need it to use the radio) is to find a local repair center that repairs aiwa car stereos. Ask them if they can order the wiring harness for an Aiwa CDC-X517M. I don't know what Aiwa charges for them, but it should not cost more than about $30 or $40. Some are cheaper and some are a little more.
I did a search for it on google and could not find anything. Very unusual.
The four spots you refer to are the RCA jacks to connect to an external amplifier. 2 are red and 2 are white.
That thing that plugs in above the 15 amp fuse is for your wiring harness.
The circular thing is a din cable jack and that is used for an external CD changer.
Once you get the wiring harness you should take it and the radio to a place that does car stereo installations and they can do the rest for you.
I hope this helps you out, and if it does I would really appreciate a good rating. Most people we help here never rate your help :( and we do most of this for free hoping for a good rating as a thank you for the help :).
Hope you have a great day,
Dave

Fuse for the ash tray for the crysler 300
Fuse #9 feeds the power outlet and fuse #18 feeds the lighter outlet (this is the one I believe your having trouble with).
They are both located in the fuse box in the trunk, next to the battery. If you open the trunk and lift the floor up you'll see them hiding under there. The numbers should be called out on the cover for the fuse box.

What is the best way to retrieve a CD from the
Get two nail files, cover the ends of them with scotch tape, and insert them one at a time so that one goes over the disc, and the other goes under... Press them together firmly and pull slowly while wiggling left and right gently.
This may work, but may not - most CD players have a lock in them, and the disc platter goes up to lock the disc in place as well, so that it can't move while spinning. Depends on the disc's position in the player, really.
