there is a manual online for the bdoh100...i had to read it myself....just type in the number there and manual and u should find it

How do you know that your unit has a fuse? If it does look at it and give me the information off of it and I can probably tell you where to get it.

Have you check the electric receptacle it's plugged into, to see if it's still functioning. Do this either with test leads or by plugging in another electric appliance. If it's not working check your homes circuit breaker panel for a tripped breaker. If you find that's the case, make sure nothing is plugged into the receptacle and reset the tripped breaker. Plug your heater back into that receptacle and see if it trips the breaker. If it does, something in your heater is either overheating or there is an electrical short. In either case, buy a new heater.

Most likely the breaker is in your main power box that runs your house. Its a good plan to write down what breakers go to where. One day I shut the top breaker off and went all over the house to find which one it was and wrote it down on the electrical box. I did that for each one and it really helps now when a section of my house goes down electrically.

Either your heater has a short and that is why iy is popping your surge protector or the surge protector is going bad also check to see how many amps the heater uses and also how many amps your surge protector can handle if you have to much plugged into it then when you fire the heater on it will pop it. Now for the heater I would have it looked at by a professional or buy a new heater sorry for the trouble and thank you for using Fixya!
