I have a Aiwa av-x120 receiver and aiwa Rc-ar01 Remote control. What is the code for the remote control for the receiver and how do you sent up

Some guesswork here. If the remote control is specific for the receiver, it should work without any set up required. Just any old Aiwa remote control may not have the necessary code.

I have an AIWA LX770 turntable. I have not used it in awhile. Now the tonearm does not lower enough to play the record.

It needs cleaning and adjusting. The lubricant has dried out.

I have a aiwa av-d58 receiver that I bought from a goodwill. Recently I got the volume to work and while testing it (I had a subwoofer and the center channel hooked up) it suddenly made a loud thud/boom through the subwoofer and did it a few times before it cut and started to make a loud buzzing/humming sound and low volume. When I investigated it I found that the ribbon cable going to the digital input board had three bent pins, I tried to move them back and it helped a little bit but the buzzing was still happening but quieter. I just want to confirm whether or not it is just the ribbon cable or maybe something else as well.

Probably something else. The buzzing is typical of an open circuit input "receiving" radiated 50/60 Hz from nearby mains wiring. An alternative source of buzzing is the 50/60 Hz mains breaking through into the audio due to failed smoothing and filtering in the power supply. Capacitors that have been unused for quite a while can lose condition and fail when put into use again and this might have been the cause of the thump/thud/boom you noted. I doubt it is the cause but it is very unwise to operate an amplifier without a full complement of speakers unless the volume is kept at minimum...

Aiwa AV-NW30 has no audio out, FM shows signal, functions work OK. No sound on headphones from AM/FM or CD? where to check for audio signal?

You would have to open the unit and check for signal right before headphone plug.

How does the volume control knob work on my aiwa stereo system

It work as a simple twist action. That small, dark plastic part right in the centre will turn, possible with a small flathead screwdriver.

Clear all the pre-set channels

There's no clear all settings there. You need to manually delete each saved station. Try to unplug the power of the unit for few hours and check if that clears all.
