VIA P4X266 PE11-L Motherboard - Page 3 Questions & Answers
Hi internet. I am on Windows 10 version 1903 and I decided to install TOCA Race Driver 3 onto my PC. Upon installation, I clicked on the game, and it didn't initially load, so I started it as an administrator. Then I got a yes/no pop up from the game stating my computer needed to restart. After clicking yes, my PC got stuck in an endless cycle of Automatic Repair, so I disabled Automatic Repair via command prompt. Then when I restarted, it said that the driver verification (or something like that) of sfsync03.sys failed, so I then went back into command prompt, and I tried to locate and delete that file, only to see that it was not present in my x:\windows\system32\drivers folder (the drive is x because I am doing this through Windows 10's built-in recovery tool). So now I've started chkdsk /r, but I'm stumped and I need access to my computer. Please, kind internet passerby, do help me! Thank you, Orange.
my guess is this software is infected.
no source stated, URL
and you did not run VIRUSTOTAL.com on the install file first.
you will learn from this mistake.
1: only get games from maker or STEAM
2: run AV virustotal.com free on the installer.
3: set restore point in W10
4: load the game and pray.
or use , REvo uninstaller, and run it and pick Install the game. now it will remove it later if bad..by the roots.
I need to reset my adsl password in order to be able to connect my cellphone to it via wi fi
Hi Chris,
A few questions for you first.
1) Why would you need your ADSL (connection) password to connect your phone to the Wireless? They should be different.
2) Who is your ISP (Internet Service Provider)?
3) What equipment do you have. The usual set-up is an ADSL Wireless Router (all in one), or an ADSL Modem attached to a Wireless router. Anyway, let me know how yours is set-up.
You can usually change your account details from your ISP web site, there is usually a customer portal for this. Did you set up any account security questions? If so, this should let you change your password. Without this I think you will need to call your ISP to discuss further.
Anyway, feel free to respond and I'l assist if I can...
M.
