Hi, I have a MRD-M300

That is a little strange, I would tighten up and clean up your ground and power connections, check your fuses.

Does the amp power up?

Amp being underpowered doesn't make any sense, unless he means that the wire was of too light a gauge to supply the amps demand, but typically that will cause overheating and the amp will click off.

Now over driving the amp can burn out the coils in the sub.

Check your subs by tapping a battery on the wire going to them and see if they move and make a pop, if so you are good.

Go ahead and check connections, fuses, subs and let me know what you find then we will attack the exact problem.

Let me know how it works out,

Thanks!

PS If I had a nickel for every bad ground I had to fix from shops around here I would make slightly more money every month!

Powers up no sound out

Hello jreinhard623,

Check the speakers and wiring by substituting a known good speaker and check the amp inputs and RCA cables. Also make sure that the input gain and other controls are set properly. If there's still no sound, the amp itself is probably defective.

My MRD-M300 amp will stop working when I turn the

There are a few things you should check:

Check that you have the correct fuse on your power cable. If it is allowing too much current, the protection feature of the amp will kick in. Similarly if the resistance is too high, there will not be enough current to power the amplifier.

You may also want to check the earth/ground cable to ensure that it has a good connection.

Try increasing the gain slightly on the amplifier (not too much or you will blow something). This will mean that you don't have to turn the head unit volume too high to get a loud output.

Nice amp BTW.

E-3 comes up

Hello svjonny13,

Excessive current draw can be caused by a short in the wiring, especially the output. Also, an amp may draw excessive current when operated into a lower impedance load than it can handle.

Too low of a supply voltage may result in the amp drawing excessive current, especially when operated at or near it's rated output. Voltage multiplied by the current equals watts. So if the amp is trying to produce X number of watts, the lower the voltage, the more current it needs. A power wire that is too small or too long may have too high of a voltage drop. A high resistance in the ground connection can also result in a significant voltage drop. Again, too small, too long, loosely fastened, or perhaps corroded. I'd check all wiring

Internal component failure can also cause excessive current draw. In that case, the amp needs service.

Hope this helps.

No sound is coming out

Hello christheline,

First make sure that the amp is powering up properly and that the input and subwoofer(s) are connected.

Check that the amp is not in "safe mode".

1. Press the MODE button.
Press the UP or DOWN button until “9” is displayed.
2. Press the ENT button.
3. Press the UP or DOWN button until “9-1” is displayed.
4. Press the ENT button.
5. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to turn safe mode ON.
6. Press the ENT button.

If this does not work, either the input from the head unit, the subwoofer(s), or the amp itself is probably defective.

Hope this helps.

I need a manual for my amp any ideas on how i can

More power. get a 0 gauge power wire that will help. also try a gel cell battery as opposed to a liquid one. other than that if you really want more punch try buying a bigger amp. Or maybe the issue is not your amp at all it could be the subs you are running and the type of box. Not all boxes are intended for all applications.

Problem with Amp sustaing Power

I fixed it. Believe it or not, it was a fuse. I looked at them all and they did not look blown. So I got mad and replaced the remote wire and the fuses. And when I put in the last fuse it was fine. Apparantly from diligent research, fuses can look ok but have issues with soldering problems. Thanks peeps.

Lights on, nobody home

Appears to be an issue with current. Is the speaker the correct impedance for the amplifier ? Have you confirmed there are no short circuits in the wiring ? I'm not familiar with this particular product,

The alpine catalogue gives recommended amp/speaker combos. If you don't have an aplpine sub, then look at the specs and find a similar one. You may be trying to load the amp too heavily and it will protect itself.

I need a Manual for a Alpine Vie-x077 in English and also anyone know why it keeps saying the disc needs to be ejected but it won't

  1. Mechanical Issue: There might be a mechanical problem with the disc drive or the eject mechanism. It's possible that a part is jammed or not functioning correctly.
  2. Dirty or Damaged Disc: If the disc is dirty, scratched, or damaged, the player may have difficulty reading it and thus not ejecting it properly.
  3. System Error: There could be an internal error within the player's software or firmware causing it to not recognize the disc properly or to malfunction when attempting to eject it.
  4. Power Issue: Sometimes, power-related issues can affect the functionality of electronic devices. Ensure that the player is receiving adequate power and there are no loose connections.
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
  • Turn off the player and then turn it back on to see if it resolves the issue.
  • Try ejecting the disc using the manual eject button (if available). This button is usually a small pinhole near the disc slot. You can insert a paperclip or a similarly sized object into the hole to manually eject the disc.
  • If possible, try using a different disc to see if the problem persists. If other discs work fine, then the issue may be with the original disc.
  • Check for any visible obstructions around the disc slot and remove them if present.
  • If none of the above steps work, you may need to contact Alpine customer support for further assistance or consider taking the player to a qualified technician for repair.
