The T.h.e. Maxi Elbow Pads - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
I have Hoveround Mpv5 and it is a used one I received as a gift. I put in new batteries last year. Now I can charge it but it won't turn on. What to do?
Check Power and Connections:
Ensure the power is turned on.
Confirm that the charger and power cord are not plugged into the unit.
Make sure the brake release levers are in drive mode.
Joystick Controller:
Verify that the joystick cable is securely attached.
Check if the batteries are fully charged. If not, proceed with charging.
Battery Charger:
Plug the charger into a working outlet and test it with a lamp or LED clock.
Use a charger specifically designed for your Hoveround MPV5.
If the problem persists, consider replacing the battery charger.
Battery Issues:
Ensure the brake release levers are in drive mode.
Check all battery connectors to ensure they are properly connected.
Verify that the batteries are fully charged. If not, proceed with charging.
If the batteries still won't charge properly, replacement batteries may be needed.
Consult your Owner's Manual for illustrations and additional instructions. If these steps don't resolve the issue, I recommend contacting Hoveround Technical Support at 1-800-96-HOVER (1-800-964-6837) for professional assistance

Pronto M51 Mobility Wheelchair. It is too slow even when turned all the way up.
Battery Health:
Slower speeds can result from weak or deteriorating batteries. Make sure your wheelchair's batteries are fully charged and in good condition. If they are old or not holding a charge, consider replacing them.
Joystick Calibration:
Recalibrate the joystick. Sometimes, recalibrating the control system can improve responsiveness. Refer to your wheelchair's manual for specific instructions on how to calibrate the joystick.
Wheelchair Weight Limit:
Confirm that the total weight (including the user and any accessories) does not exceed the wheelchair's weight limit. Overloading can affect performance.
Wheelchair Maintenance:
Regular maintenance is crucial. Check for any loose connections, worn-out components, or debris around the wheels. Lubricate moving parts as needed.
Controller Settings:
The Pronto M51 has adjustable controller settings. You can adjust acceleration, deceleration, and other parameters. Refer to the owner's manual for details on accessing and modifying these settings.
Professional Inspection:
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, consider having a professional technician inspect your wheelchair

Where can I go to download the manual for my Smart Logic 5534 Blood Pressure Monitor made by Life Brands?
error 3 on a blood pressure monitor indicates that there is an error in the systolic pressure reading. This error is usually caused by the cuff not being placed correctly on the arm. In order to get an accurate reading, the cuff must be placed on the arm so that it is snug but not too tight. The cuff should also be placed at the level of the heart.
If the cuff is not placed correctly, the reading will be inaccurate. If you are getting an error 3 on your blood pressure monitor, make sure that you are placing the cuff correctly on your arm. If you are still having trouble, you may want to consult with your doctor to make sure that there are no underlying health conditions that are causing the error
