Make sure the antennae input is plugged into the back of the head unit. There should be a lead behind the dash coming from the car for the antennae. This will plug straight into the back of the head unit to receive radio signals.

To use an auxillary input on this radio - you need the correct cabling to "trick" the radio into thinking there is a CD changer attached.

CLICK HERE to see the adapter required.
Then you will need a different adapter that converts your 3.5mm jack to component RCAs.

THIS ONE is the second plug you need.

Then you can use your 3.5mm male to 3.5mm male cable.

Or you can eliminate this cable and get a 3.5mm MALE to Male RCA cable like this one...

well, if you have aftermarket speakers with no amp, the radio may not have the power the speakers need and it clips at that volume to protect for damage. if you have factory speakers, I don't know what it would do that, the speakers would blow before the radio would clip if they were factory because the radio would have more than enough power to push them.

There is a lock whicch has to be removed by inserting the KEY that comes with the set . However if you do not have this with you , you might have to use thin flat blade of about 10 cms width to push into the sides after removing the front panel.
Before the set is removed check for the fuse on the fuse panel , If fuse is Ok then the set has to be removed.
Once the set is removed then the positive from the switch and the main continuous positive must tbe present on the line. if not trace and correct.
However if the power is fine then you have to clean the front panel and also the connections on the base panel. Fix the front panel. If the set does not power then you will need to open set and check on the mother board for failure of the regulator, the micro controller, check power to these sections.

you can try resetting it. there might be a hole about the size of a pencil tip on the sub panel (behind the face). if no reset switch, try disconnection power to the radio. if you can't get to the back of the radio to disconnect the wire harness, try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes.
