Clicking Noise, Jumpy Sound, No Picture
The SMPS (switch mode power supply) is a bit tricky in this unit. Failures in the SMPS can give false impressions of what's actually happening with regard to the symptoms.
You'll need to ESR the caps in the SMPS first. C525 250v/10uf is a good place to start. It sounds like the B+ voltages are present by the noise you're describing and that would indicate that the regulator circuit is probably okay. Next I'd check things like the HOT (horizontal output transistor) for short.
NOTE: If you don't have an ESR meter the job is nearly impossible. Electrolytic caps don't always show any outward signs of damage. Only by checking their equivelent series resistance are you able to determine if a lytic is the culprit.

Are you on cable or the dish? Did you buy the set in Jamaica? The reason that I am asking these questions is that all sets do not work the same every where in the world.

I need to know how to change modes without controller when I'm using a dvd
Without a remote controller, you may have limited options to change modes on your Apex digital TV. However, you may be able to change the mode by using the buttons on the TV itself.
Here are some general steps you can try:
- Turn on your TV and make sure your DVD player is connected to it.
- Look for the "Menu" button on the TV and press it.
- Navigate through the menu options using the arrow buttons on the TV until you find "Input" or "Source."
- Press the "Enter" button to select the input/source option.
- Use the arrow buttons to select the input/source that corresponds to your DVD player.
- Press the "Enter" button to confirm the selection.
- Press the "Menu" button to exit the menu.
Note that the specific steps may vary depending on the model of your Apex TV. You may also consult the user manual for your TV for more information on changing modes without a remote controller.
