Apex gt2715 vertical sweep capacitors
Check the filter capacitor to the power supply to vertical output section. Normally, this supply will be provided by LOT. Check the rectifier diode and smoothing capacitor. Replace all the electrolytic capacitors [5 or 6 of them] in the vertical output section. It will be the best remedy. Never forget to replace the supply smoothing capacitor described above.

You cannot adjust the resolution in CRT TVs. Its not like a monitor that is compatible with a number of resolutions from a computer for example. CRT TVs resolution's dont work like that.They take an input usually from a composite, Svideo or coaxial source and display it on the screen.
When you say the picture is cut out is there a black bar on top/bottom/middle of the screen? In older CRT TVs that usually means a problem with the TV itself and would need to be taken in for repairs or replaced.

Yes,this tv is an analog tv,free air tv channels are all digital now.Tries walmart,Target stores,might still sell these digital converter boxes.Not,tries websites like Amazon.com,Ebay.com they still sell these converter boxes.

CHILD LOCK
The Child Lock feature prevents unauthorized viewing of the TV. To activate, press and hold the F key, and
then press MUTE. You should see a key symbol appear on the screen. This will lock out all remote functions
(except for Standby). To unlock the TV, press and hold the F key and press MUTE. This will unlock the TV.
Please note that the only way to activate or deactivate the Child Lock feature is via remote control - please
insure that it is stored securely.

Turning on and off on it's own
Hi,
Theres a possibility that the tac switches of your unit got stucked thats why your units function is intermittent. Try to have your buttons removed and have your units circuitry be resoldered.

Can't see the scroll at the bottom of the screen
I was having the same problem. if you turn the vol. down to 00 then press mute on the remote then hold mute on the remote and menu on the tv for 3 seconds you will get the service menu and you can adjust the screen.

My picture posisiton is not correct
There is a way to correct it. Adjustment of the deflection yoke to a desired ratio. But have the job refered to a qualified person because you will need the unit working during adjustments.

No Picture
If when you press the volume or channel up or down button you get no OSD, that's is no channel number or volume up bars, have some one check the set for either a defective video out IC or a defective picture tube, or a bad cap in the power supply. Set should be serviced by a TV repair person.

TEST123-TRY JIGGLING THE TUNER INPUT AS I HAVE SAME MODEL AND IT DID NEED A FEW TUNER CONNECTIONS SOLDERED OR OTHERWISE THE TUNER MAY NEED REPLACEMENT IF THAT HAS TO HAPPEN YOU MAY LOOK TOWARD REPLACING TV AS COST CAN BE ALMOST EQUAL UNLESS YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF. JOE TV
Screen cuts off
sorry to say , you have a fault in the verticale sweep circuit in this tv. The problem is most likly a dried out or leaky capacitorm or a Verticale out put IC along with the capacitor. There are no user serviceable parts inside this tv so if your not familiar with the saftey issues with the HI Voltage inside of the tv set , then I would call in a pro to assist you with this repair. Also all the parts are soldered in and there are no replaceable mods. to change. Good Luck
