Feader dogs will not move material. thread knots
Thread knots because the material is not feeding. Sounds like the machine has not been oil or serviced in some time and the old oil is turned into a varnish and causing the mechanisms to stick and therefore, not operating freely. I've recently serviced a machine that had been idle for quite some time and the feed dogs and zigzag mechanisms were sticking. Just a proper dissolving and cleaning the old oil and re-oiling and the machine was working like new again. A proper cleaning of lint build-up on the feed dogs under the needle plate is also a probable cause.

My bobbin will not refill but motor is turning
Do you have your thread wound around the guide the right way so that there is the proper tension? Do you also have your bobbin resting against the bobbin winder all of the way? Have you released the knob (clutch) to stop the needle bar from going up and down? If, all these things are correct and it still does not wind the bobbin, call Sears.
The first time the machine
Take it to your nearest Sears store and go right to the sewing machine department, they are usually very helpful and can tell you if it needs service or not. Take your manual with you.
Bobbin Thread is "birdnesting"
Get out the manual and refer to the maintenance section for cleaning the machine.
Especially the bobbin area. You want to make sure the area around the bobbin case is free of lint and thread.
Use a new bobbin and re-thread the machine, with the presser foot UP.
Install a new needle, again according to the directions in the manual. Installed incorrectly can lead to mis-stitching.
If the problem persits, the timing may need adjusting.
This should be done by the sewing machine tech for Kenmore.
Sewusa.com has a guide for this in the repair section, but you could end up with more problems.
