I have a Sanyo PLC-XP46/L projector and it has a
A common problem for these projectors, the light gets bent around 3 different color filters inside there, for some reason the blue one gets burned out the fastest. It always makes a halo, we found it cheaper to replace the unit than fix it, They wanted $1,000 to fix it, all it is is a filter, but they don't tell you that. You can find your exact machine on ebay for parts, but chances are it will have the same problem. I have the same machine here, I fixed it myself, It isn't perfect, but it is a lot better than it was. I took a glass panel from a cell phone, it fits perfect, and it stopped the halo, the glass is bullet proof and high heat proof, the way I discovered this, I shred old cell phones for parts and and computers for parts, I was in the process of shredding the projector, I found a cell phone screen in the ashes of our burn pile, untouched, not a scratch, so,, I put it to use, you can try it. It is cheaper than a $1,000 repair job. If you need more info on this, write a reply, I'll be happy to try and help.
