it may not be the prism but rather a polarizer glass plate. take the cover off and inspect the optics parts to see which one may be heat affected and damaged.

try another wall outlet if that dosent work try a nother cord, than if it still wont respond it could be a blowed fuse or a bad power bord.

If you have the replaced lamp with you it will be good to place it back again to see the indication to change off.
If so then the bulb must be good but if the same situation comes on then it might be the lamp.
please cross check the power supply for any errors to switch on or low power to the lamp

You could try these. SANYO 0506, 0311, 0612, 0002, 0428, 0802, 0412, 0619.
but if none of them work, do a scan:
press the ON/OFF button once to start the scanning sequence. The red LED will blink all by itself for each code attempted. Wait for the selected device (TV, VCR, etc.) to power off, then press the ENTER button IMMEDIATELY, before it steps to the next code. This captures the last code attempted, the one that shut down your device.

If your LED does not blink repeatedly all by itself, then you can assume you have an old versin of the Jumbo. In that case, press the ON/OFF button "REPEATEDLY" to scan from one code to the next

power supply dead. needs replacement. chances are the caps are dried up.

we had this problem and it ended up being that one of the fans under the lens assembly was not working, causing the system to shut down when it tested it at startup

move the projector back until the image fills the screen.

Take out the lamp and check for any discolouration , vein like looking markings in either white or black on the lamp itself.

I'm sure you'll find the lamp to be the problem here.

Trial and error---putting them in each different slot until we got it right))..pain in the ****!! :-)

Sounds like a ground loop on the video signal. Try using a ground lift on your computer and or your projector.

Either its dust on the mirrors, if so u need to clean then, there are 3 mirrors inside. Or one of the mirrors is bad, then u need to buy a new one. I would recomend you to NOT do that yourself, leave it to someone who knows how to to that.

check the safety switch under the lamp cover if the has snapped there wont be any power
