Where did you connect the Video too?, are you using RCA, S video?

This particular model doesn't have internal speakers. It has two removable external speakers mounted on the left and right side of the tv. If you didn't get the external speakers with the tv, you won't have sound unless you use a surround sound setup.

My daewoo has the same problem. I am told an NEC 942-200529 Digital board "should" fix the problem... I have one on the way, I will try to keep posted.

There should be a button called Aspect or Aspect Ratio on either the TV's remote or the remote for you cable box/satellite receiver.  Try one of these and keep pressing the button as it will cycle whatever options there are.  If you see a Zoom button, ignore this as this will only make matters worse as some of the image will be cropped off.

The PDP (plasma display panel) is defective and needs to be replaced. The big problem is that Daewoo no longer carries replacement panels for this model. I'm in the same boat you're in. I hate to throw away the tv so I'm waiting to see if I can find a replacement panel on ebay.

Check the LVDS cable and all the other cables inside to make sure that they are plugged in all the way, otherwise it could be a bad panel

Your TV might of had died. Or it is due to the power supply not working anymore.It might be the power cord is bad for the TV.
