Hello. Most products for Canadian Tire are outsourced for manufacture, this means that sometimes the product serial number is required as well as the CTC code... have both ready when contacting this number :
Mastercraft toll free help line is 1-800-689-9928. The service staff are very helpfull in assisting customers in obtaining replacement parts. As the tool carries the Mastercraft name, you may wish to inquire about their warranty for replacements, you may get lucky and have them pay for it.

Looking for the 8 1/4
Hello. Mastercraft carries a variety of 8 1/4 replacement blades that are "normally" an in-stock item. The blade is labeled as a circular saw blade, not a chop saw blade.
- standard 40 tooth Product# 55-6953-6 aprox $25
- general purpose 24 tooth Product #55-6976-2 aprox $30
There are others that the store can order in, or to pick up on line as well. You may also notice, that the general purpose blade is rated for 8-8 1/4 inch, most of these two sizes have the same size arbour and will both fit on your saw - this gives you a varied selection. Hope this helps.

I've got a Draper 30357 torque wrench. It says in
Had a look at the manual. From what I can see you turn the handle until the zero lines up with the main divisions and then turn the handle for any additional increments to set the final reading. To do this you have to pick the main reading lower than your intended setting and work upwards by adding increments on the handle by turning it clockwise. You could do this by picking the reading above your intended setting and turn the handle anti-clockwise to reduce the reading but you could make a mistake doing the subtraction. I think this is what they are trying to get across. In any case the handle has to be turned anti-clockwise if you are using the wrench to tighten a nut with a lower torque setting.

Vanguard 960 stapler - where
Greetings from The Snow Belt! Here is a link. Click "store finder", and at the bottom of the page there are address listed. Click on "and more" and a number will be displayed in a new box beside the name Harrogate. The box is displayed dimmly, not sure why. On the main page, they do have a "contact us" tab, I'm certain someone there could be of assistance if the above fails out.

Hope this helped, if so please rate a four-thumbs up. Thank You.

Floor jack won't stay
If you are having a problem with the jack slipping...if its Craftsman , they may take it back and provide a replacement. Even if you could fix it, it never works that same. It is not worth your life. I know, I lost my husband when a jack slipped 3 years ago this month.

How do you fill JT-21
Just pull the spring assembly out completely (silver thingy), slide one full length of staples into the gun, then reinsert the spring assembly until it locks in place. Hope this helps!

Need to tap a hole and no tapping chart?
If you need to tap a hole and do not have a drill tap chart and it is not absolutely critical that the threads are perfect, this is a quick way to determine what size hole to drill. Take a nut of the same size and thread pitch you want to tap. A drill bit that fits through the nut with just a bit of play will give you a close enough hole to tap. If the thread is metric an easy rule of thumb is to take the bolt size, deduct the thread pitch and another 0.1%, and that is your tapping drill size. eg. M 10 pitch is 1.5 mm, deduct this gives 8.5 mm, less another 0.1% gives 8.4mm, the closest tapping size for M 10 threads.

Your carburetor is not set properly. Some carburetors are adjustable and some are not. Your best bet would be to take it to a GOOD small engine mechanic who knows what they are doing. They will be able to fix it for you and show you how to take care of it.

Got a black&decker cordless drill
I would need to know what model your drill is to be sure but many B&D drills have 2 yr warranties. Some of the lower end drills are 1 yr and some of the professional grade products are lifetime.
