I have a Pioneer XC-F10

I Have managed to solve my instant turning off fault. As its been mentioned before, this is a demo mode fault, heres what I did...

Leave the Unit in standby, and press and hold the "system menu" button you should see the words "demo mode" flash up on the display briefly, at this point press the "set" button to enter demo mode selection finally press the "+" or "-" button to turn the demo mode off.

You have to be quick with the remote buttons when getting into the demo mode, might take a few trys.

I'm not sure if this will fix everyones fault, but certainly helped with mine. Good Luck.

You can't. You bought a set of wireless speakers with no way to connect them to anything. Communication is don'e from the base station. You need to buy another complete.

I have a Sony FM Stereo/FM-AM Receiver model STR-DE325 that will not respond to volume up or down on the remote control. All of the other buttons on the remote work as they should and all functions of the receiver work as they should. I can adjust the volume with the knob on the receiver, but not the remote. Remote model number is RM-U302. Here's what I've tried: - New batteries in the remote, several times actually. - Removed batteries from remote, pressed each button 4 times, reinstalled batteries. I've done this many times too. - Performed factory reset of the receiver by unplugging power for 30 minutes, then holding down power key, plug receiver back in. - Bought a universal remote that listed the Sony STR-DE325 as a compatible device - no volume control function with that either. - Checked IR output of the remote with my cellphone camera. Each button press showed an IR signal in my phone, including both the volume buttons. Is there a motor that's supposed to move the volume control knob? Could that be burned out with all the rest of the receiver functions working? Thanks!

No, I don't think there is a motor that is supposed to turn the volume - I think the volume is a push button type with one button to increase and another for down that is pushed by a clever rotary mechanism or if it isn't exactly like that the principle is probably a similar use of pure electronics.

It is clear the link between the infrared receiver and decoder and the volume electronics is broken and it will probably need a service engineer to discover where and effect a repair.
