It is possible that different people have different hearing capacity. If 25-30 does the job, be happy. Nothing wrong.

TRY TAKING APART REMOTE AND CLEAN BOARD AND MAGNETS ON KEY PAD. USE ONLY CLEAR RUBBING ALCOHOL WITH Q-TIP TO CLEAN THEM. WAIT UNTILL DRYS BEFORE PUTTING BACK TOGETTER.

I unplugged the power source and replugged it in and voila it popped right out...try that before you take it all apart...

First thing I'd try is cleaning the laser with a CD / DVD lens cleaning disc. You can find them just about anywhere (Walmart, Target, Best Buy)

Just follow the instructions on the disc (basically just play it) the disc has brushes built into the bottom which will clean the laser lens automatically.

Let me know if that clears up the problem.

There could be a slider switch to go between 24hr and 12hr slide it accross. OR Hold down clock and see what that comes up with sometimes it can say AM/PM thats 12hr too.
