clean your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor specifically around your central processing and your sound card unit making VERY sure there is no moisture in the air line

as dust will cause a lot of static which will make a computer overheat and cause lots of problems

hi,
Here is what I would do: If you can remove the back, I think I'd do that to take a look see. Don't do it if you will damage the case. If Bose will sell you the parts, you might be able to replace the damaged parts. My guess is they will not sell you the parts directly. I'm also thinking there may be no warranty on this device since you took it from the US market to India. Also, this is probably a difficult repair for the consumer to make.

also find the service center near you:
Why not give them a call and ask for help.

please check up your power cable or dc connector whatever your device fitted
wth your bose speaker .if the connection ok increase the volume and open the cable from the pc

if you get the sound from ur sound system .plug right way to pc .and restart your pc .after that chek the volume icon is there no check on on mute .if so check of the that.
