click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there

click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem
have you tried this control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand,system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer

I got the companion 3 computer speakers over a
try replacing the input cord between the speakers and the computer. the scratching noise normaly comes from a faulty connector. if that doesnt work you may have dirt or dust in contact with the speakers cones or there is an amplifier issue

myhairsonfir i did the exact saem thing today im gutted! im also in south america (chile) so found your post to be remarkably similar, though if im honest i only just went out and bought the transformer after it did not work.
Have you managed to resolve your problem? did you get a new fuse?

Here is what I would do: If you can remove the back, I think I'd do that to take a look see. Don't do it if you will damage the case. If Bose will sell you the parts, you might be able to replace the damaged parts. My guess is they will not sell you the parts directly. I'm also thinking there may be no warranty on this device since you took it from the US market to India. Also, this is probably a difficult repair for the consumer to make.

no sound at all it was working fine before i got additional speakers creative sarrounding withe 2 mini and 1 sub buffer how to test it its just not comming on now

My left speaker output on my subwoofer is no

please check up your power cable or dc connector whatever your device fitted
wth your bose speaker .if the connection ok increase the volume and open the cable from the pc
tuch the stereo jack .Now you can listen a sound when tuch the jack.If you do not get any sound think your amplifire or audio system has no dc/ac voltage .if the voltage is ok thnk your sound system defected and go to technician.
if you get the sound from ur sound system .plug right way to pc .and restart your pc .after that chek the volume icon is there no check on on mute .if so check of the that.
