Can't help with the disassemble, but I restore vintage receivers, so I can help with controls. Your local guitar shop should carry a product called "Faderlube", or you can order it on line. There are two versions, the 10% solution and the 100% solution. Spray the 10% first, and work the pot or fader from one limit to the other 50 times. Repeat with another spray and workout. Then follow up with the 100% solution. The 100% provides lubrication. You have to make sure you get the fluids inside where the sliding resistive parts are. You can usually tell if it's working because the fluid will cause the pot to turn or the slider to slide more freely. This process will cure 90% of your problems. When you test, you may find some of the controls are still dirty, and you have to go back and repeat the process, but before you do, try just working them 200 turns and see if that does the job. There are cheaper cleaning products, but don't mess with them. Shell out the bucks for the real thing.

The orange wire connects under the tape cassette deck there are two pointed lugs under the tape deck on the left and right hand side - slide cable over and the other black wire is a cable tie and connects to the right hand side of the cassette bracket and ties the cables coming from the cassette heads to the cassette deck. Sorry to inform you that you have lost your digital input switching IC.How it works is when you select an input it releases the mute on that selection while holding down the mute on all other input. As soon as it fails it releases the mute on all inputs , so you will be able to hear your source through any input.
The IC ( chip ) is made by Toshiba / Sanyo and will cost you about 10$ plus service charges to replace. Will need professional help to dismantle , de solder and then solder the new IC.
