Yes - take apart the CPU fan. Underneath is the CPU. Remove the old heat compound (silicone) and re-apply new compound. Don't forget to clean the fan assembly and heat fin radiator - it'll have lots of dust and dirt.

Normally the webcam is controlled by a program somewhere. Look on your desktop if you don't see it there click Start/Programs and look in the program list. It might be under one of the programs that references Acer.You can always download Manycam and install it. Go towww.google.com and in the search box type: "download.cnet.com"(without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When thesite opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says FindSoftware. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the whitesearch area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your resultslook for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it andinstall it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs itwould like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additionswhatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use,and you will always know where your webcam software is.
I'm thinking from what you describe that you are just looking at the cursor blinking in the upper left corner of the screen.You haven't said what you did or what you are trying to do, but I suggest you turn the computer off (just push the power button in for about 7 seconds) and then restart it after about 15 seconds. If it doesn't start, go through the process again but this time, after you turn it on, tap on the F8 key. Like tap---tap---tap and keep doing that until you get a black screen with a white menu on it. Use your arrow keys to select "repair your computer" that you will see if you are using windows 7.This should repair you startup problem.
Visit the following link in your web browser and manually set all the options as shown in the image provided with this solution.http://www.acer.co.in/ac/en/IN/content/driversDownload drivers, documentation, BIOS update etc for your Acer Aspire Z5600, Hope this may solve your problem.
Question edited for clarity and toss in a few CAPS.
Question moved to Acer Aspire category.
There a few issues that can cause this, the obvious one is that the battery has failed internally, but it can also be a charging software issue. Try this. Unplug from the mains supply. Remove the battery. Leave the computer for 2 hours. Press and hold the power button for a full 2 minutes. Replace the battery, plug back in, count to 10 and power it back up.
Has the motherboard battery ever been changed? They are critical to the health of the motherboard and the machine in general.
what password computer or outlook
Reset an Outlook password to keep your program secure.
A
Microsoft Outlook password keeps your email account secure from unwanted
intrusion.
When you wish to reset your Outlook password, you must
perform a multistep process to change your password first with your Internet

The password with your ISP mail server must be the same as
the password you set in your Outlook program in order to send and receive
emails.
Call your ISP and request a new password for your account.
Write down the password after you receive it to ensure you
do not forget it.
Open your Outlook program, click the "Tools" tab
and then select "Email accounts."
Select "View or change existing email accounts"
and then press "Next."
Highlight the email account you wish to change (if you
have more than one email account) and press "Change."
Enter the new password you just received from your ISP
into the appropriate fields (entering it twice).
Place a check mark beside "remember password" if
you want Outlook to remember your password each time you log in.
Click "Test Account Settings" to make sure your
account works with the new password.
Press "Finish."

If you have no internal hard drive installed you won't get it to work correctly as the hard drive is where the data is stored for the operating system.
Estimado Carlos,
1 - Desarmar la computadora, y sacar el disipador de calor com mucho cuidado de sobre el procesador;
2 - Limpiar bien entre las ranuras del disipador de calor, sacandose todo el polvo y suciedad del mismo ya que el polvo ayuda a mantener el calor y sobrecalentar el procesador;
3 - Limpiar muy bien las rejillas de entrada/salida de aire, sacandose todo el polvo y suciedad,
4 - Rearmar el disipador sobre el procesador, pasando entre ellos una delgada camada de pasta termica plateada, que se puede comprar en tiendas de suminsitros y partes de computadoras (NOTA: no instale el disipador sobre el procesador sin pasar la pasta termica, porque podra' seguir sobrecalentandose);
5 - Rearmar la computadora.
Caso usted no tenga facilidad en armar y desarmar la computadora, seria bueno contactarse con un tecnico de su confianza para hacer ese trabajo para usted.
!Espero que esa respuesta pueda haberle sido util!
