Where is the drain on a crosley air conditioner?
Since the water runs down the evaporator coils its located at the lowest part of the unit. either in the center underneath it, or at the rear edge. The drain does get plugged up and the evap coils get dirty as well. When its installed in the window it should be installed so its tipped slightly backwards so if the pan get full of wate, the overflow will run out the back and not into the house.
How can' I reset or fix my ac that will not turn off unless unplugging it?
There Is a micro processor inside and it gives you ten seconds to push the off button after you leave it unplugged for around 7 hours turn it off leave plugged in and will reset only while it off bad unplugged and I fixed this ac myself and no one could tell me what to do I asked a question and finally figured it out myself this my answer to my question
The unit won't come on.
There might be something wrong with the wiring connection. Check for open wire, burn-out wire or worn-out terminal lug from your control box. Unplug the unit and unscrew the control box to find the problem. If you found nothing abnormal plug it in and test with volt meter if power is coming at the end of the wires (connected to the plug). If no power at the end of the wires, it is broken near the plug. Cut the wire and reconnect it back to a new plug.
