My Hitachi DVD P315 player

hi,
You have to check the laser pickup unit of you dvd player. In your dvd palyer the laser pickup unit is faulty. There are two lasers in DVD players laser unit. One for reading the DVD and the other for reading the CD. In your player the DVD laser is faulty. As it is one module you have to replace the laser pickup unit as a whole. You will get it from any electronic spare part shope near to you. As a whole i mean Normally laser pickup units come with its mechanism like in the picture . May have slight difference with your one. picture is only for reference. Its part number will be written on the bottom side of the laser unit. you have to take the laser unit as sample when you are going to buy the same. If it is reading cds it is sure that the laser pickup is faulty. Its a regular complaint to dvd palyers. To replace the laser pickup you have to remove the cd loader and have to remove connections to it.

When i put a dvd

Either a DVD with the wrong region code has been loaded, and your player doesn't recognise it, or you have inserted a disc which is either rewritable (or an incompatible format for your player), a blank DVD or CD, or the disc has not been finalised in a DVD recorder. It depends on the disc(s) you have, whether they are region coded or those using a compatible playback format (finalised DVD-Rs are the best as far as burned copies go).

Examples of incompatible formats for your player may include;
DVD-ROMs
DVD-RAMs (which are the wrong version/speed for your unit)
Mini-DVDs/CDs
CD-RWs
DVDs with a different region code to your player or rewritable discs

* When using shop-bought DVDs, including those purchased online, make sure their region code matches your player.

dvd player will only play movies for the COUNTRY in which you purchased it. There is no way to purchase a system or configure a system to play ALL MEDIA FOR ALL COUNTRIES. The country codes are specific and each country wants to prevent any other country from playing their dvds music, etc

Hitachi DVD player DVP315U. Skips forword

Hello,

how long have you been using this player? Was this player playing discs without skipping previously?

This problem is more or less like a lens problem. When the lens of a player becomes weak, it begins to skip discs. Though it might not skip all discs but that doesn't mean its not a lens problem.

Get a lens cleaner, use it to clean the lens. If that doesn't solve the problem, get a screw driver, open the player's cover so that you can gain access to the lens, use a cotton board to clean the surface of the lens. This should clean dust or dirt that might be on the lens.

If non of the above solves the problem, then know that you need to replace the laser to a brand new one.

I think your player needs a brand new lens for it to play discs without skipping them.

To replace the lens, remove the bad laser, use it as a sample to get exactly the same type and do the replacement. Note that replacing a laser (lens) needs a professional touch, so if you cannot replace the laser, get it to a repairman to fix it for you.

Once this us done, your player will play all discs again.

Good luck.

Hitachi DVd

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. To start with try running a lens cleaning disc, if that does not work then you have to open the unit and clean the lens with a Q-tip dipped in alcohol. If still the issue is not resolved then the lens should be replaced however, replacing a lens will cost you around $75 and a new one will cost you around $50. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Hitachi tv shuts off . When I turn on the TV iMessage says please wait then turns off two seconds later.

That sounds like it is not booting properly. I would check for correct power supply opperation and if not that, look for a software reloading procedure in the user instruction manual.

Change input on Hitachi LCD TV model LE65K6R9 without remote?

I'd unplug/disconnect the Roku and after 30 seconds try the control button on the back. If you can change the input do so, then plug the Roku back in. Until you use the input button on the back to change input to Roku, you should be able to use the other buttons on the back to control the TV. If this does not work, unplug both the TV and the Roku. Wait maybe a minute, then plug the TV back in and follow the above instructions. Here are other alternatives: Using physical buttons: You can find the physical buttons on the left or right back side of the Hitachi TV. Using these keys, you can change the input, adjust the volume, or turn on Hitachi TV without a remote. Press the Input button located at the back or side of the Hitachi TV. The list of connected sources will appear on the TV screen12. Using external devices: Connect a wireless keyboard or mouse to your Hitachi TV and change the input1. Buy a universal remote: You can buy a universal remote to control your Hitachi TV and change the source.

How to remove small popup bottom left of Hitachi smart tv screen.

A little popup that appears in the lower left corner of your Hitachi smart TV screen may be related to one of the TV's settings or capabilities. You can attempt the following actions to get rid of it: 1.Investigate notifications: Smart TVs occasionally show notifications for different events or upgrades. If there are any notifications, look for them and then clear them by following the on-screen directions. 2.Applications and Inputs: Make sure all programmes and inputs are closed. The popup may occasionally be connected to an input source or app, which can be closed to get rid of it. 3.On-Screen Display (OSD) Off: There might be an OSD option in the settings menu on Hitachi TVs. Try disabling OSD or changing its settings to see if it gets rid of the popup. Verify any software/firmware updates: 4.Make that the most recent firmware or software upgrades are installed on your TV. Pop-up windows may appear as a result of faults in outdated software. Look for a software update option in the TV's settings menu. 5.Firmware Reset: You can conduct a factory reset on your TV if the problem persists after you've tried various troubleshooting measures. The default values for all settings will be restored as a result. Make cautious to back up any crucial data before doing a factory reset because doing so will also remove any customised settings and data. 6.Message Hitachi Support here: If none of the aforementioned fixes the problem, it's a good idea to get in touch with Hitachi customer service or refer to the TV's user manual for detailed instructions on how to get rid of the popup. Regarding External Devices: 7.The popup may be related to any external devices you have connected to your TV, like a cable box or game console. Make sure that these gadgets are operating properly and that the settings have been changed as necessary. Keep in mind that depending on the type and software version of your Hitachi smart TV, the precise processes and options may change. For instructions unique to your TV model, consult the user manual, or go to the Hitachi website for further help options.

Hitachi LE42S704 none of the HDMI ports work, need to update (i think)

Are you getting the various HDMI inputs on the screen but it acts like nothing is connected? We have repaired hundreds of TV's with no HDMI signal over the years and have never had an update correct this issue. There is an IC close to the HDMI input jacks (U501) that decodes the data, that's always been the defective part. You can order the part and change it but you will need advanced soldering skills and the equipment to do it, I'd recommend replacing the main board if you can find one.

I bought a Hitachi (L22DG07U) 22 Inch LED LCD DVD Combi TV everything else works perfectly except the fact that the DVD doesn't talk but the TV talk well, what do I do?

Take it in for repair unless you are a DVD repair person. The only thing you can try is a DVD Cleaning disc. You don't say what it does or doesn't do except it 'doesn't talk'. Well it isn't supposed to talk, it should play DVDs :>D Only Smart televisions have Bluetooth. Here is your manual, you could attach an external DVD if you can find one that has a SCART connector. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/466636/Hitachi-L22dg07u.html?page=12#manual It is 11 years old according to the review, and it get 6/10. https://www.avforums.com/reviews/hitachi-l22dg07u-22-inch-led-lcd-dvd-combi-tv-review.360/#:~:text=The%20energy%20efficiency%20is%20excellent,music%20via%20the%20USB%20port. ..

Can't highlight or select digital channels to autoscan on hitachi 51f59a

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with your Hitachi 51F59A TV not allowing you to select or highlight digital channels for autoscan. Here are a few things you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Check the TV's settings: Make sure the TV is set to the correct input (such as "TV" or "antenna") and that the channel search or autoscan feature is turned on. Consult the TV's manual or the on-screen menu for instructions on how to access these settings.
  2. Check the TV's connection: Make sure the TV is properly connected to a digital antenna or cable box. Also, check that the cables are securely connected and not damaged.
  3. Check for a firmware update: Sometimes a firmware update can resolve issues like this. Check the TV's manual or the manufacturer's website for instructions on how to check for and install firmware updates.
  4. Try a factory reset: If the above steps don't work, you can try performing a factory reset on the TV. This will restore the TV to its original settings and may resolve any issues with the channel search or autoscan feature. Consult the TV's manual or the on-screen menu for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.
  5. Check for a hardware issue: If none of the above solutions work, the issue could be caused by a hardware problem with the TV. In this case, you may need to contact the manufacturer or a repair professional to have the TV serviced.

Hitachi tv black screen ?

but nothing else If your Hitachi television has sound but a black screen, it is likely that either the bulb or the inverter has gone bad. The inverter is a part of the backlight system. If the inverter is not functioning, the backlight will not work and the television will be dark. You should check to see if the bulb needs to be replaced first. If the bulb is working and the inverter doesn't turn on, then you may need to have a technician take a look at the television.
