Could you explain a bit more clearly by what you mean by "shifted"? A pic here would help..

yes those are the convergence ICs or convergence amps. i bet you can find them by just putting the info into google.

its the ICs that go out on them just minor soldering and takes about an hour from start to finish. If you would like I can post a link where you can order replacements and they include free step by step instructions so you can do the repair yourself.

This is a problem with the convergence circuit. If you can solder, you can repair this yourself. First try and resolder the pins on the existing convergence ICs. These are large black ICs attached to a heatsink and should be marked STKxxx. If the resoldering does not resolve the problem, replace the ICs.

sounds like you are having a convergence fail. there are 2 Convergence amps in the tv should be on the largest heat-sink inside(right hand side looking from back) replace with stk392-110 and any open or burnt resistors. check for any cracked solder and mark any cables you unplug. if you do that work and need to align the convergence at all let me know and ill walk you through those steps

I would start 1st by checking all resistors ie.
RK43 2.2 ohm - 2W
RK47 1.5 ohm - 2W
RK51 2.2 ohm - 2W
RK55 1.5 ohm - 2W
RK59 2.2 ohm - 2W
RK63 1.5 ohm - 2W
If I were you I would also replace the convergence chips. From the above thread it's clear that they are of different quality so they may last different lengths of time (B&D is a good place to buy good quality ones).

Hi, convergence circuit has failed, convergence IC`s and any burnt resistors will have to be changed, this is NOT an easy repair if your not very proficient at soldering and un-soldering components, you will also need a good (accurate) volt meter as the resistor(s) will have to be removed and checked for value and the values are critical to the circuit, ie: 3.3 Ohms must read within 1%, if you have the tools & soldering experience get back to me and I`ll tell you where to go to get the parts, if not you need to get the set to a tv shop, BMW Rider

Reset tv to factory settings refer to your owners manual. If still no picture attach a DVD or video player and test. If still no pic refer to tech.

I suggest you try hooking up a dvd or video player. If you get picture then it is just in the settings.

Look at the power indicator on your tv. Is it blinking or is it steady. If none at all then your power supply could be the culprit.

Listen carefully to the sound of the exhaust fan. If you don't hear it it could be that the tv's fail safe shutdown is being tripped. Your tv is overheating.

Place your ear near the back of the tv and have someone turn the unit on. If the following occur :

a.) If you hear a high pitched whining sound and the fan trying to start but the unit fails to start and goes all quiet it could be a bulb issue. (see owners manual for trouble shooting code of blinking power light in front of tv)

b.) you hear nothing. It may be that the power supply for the unit has failed or its fail safe fuse has tripped. ( call tech this one needs a pro to sort out )

c.) seems like its trying to restart itself but does not quite make it. ( its a bulb issue check owners manual )

This sound like a convergence problem and maybe another problem for the pink symptom. I would not suggest to do it yourself on this one because after the IC's are put in and sometimes a resistor or two there is also a very extensive alignment that could occur. Just off the cuff have you pressed the magic focus button on the front? If magic focus don't fix then the convergence is bad . Suggest a good tv repairman.
