Log-in to facebook

Services and sites which log into Facebook sometimes require that you have the passwords cached or stored to work. Go to the Facebook site, log into Facebook and check the box to indicate that you want it to save your log in information. Some browsers will also ask if you want to remember the log in information and you can do that too. Once you do, services can upload content to your Facebook page directly.

Canon copiers c3100, ir5000, & ir7200 scanning files issue.

Ok, so working thru the troubleshooting model you have identified the symptoms fairly well but I dont know if you have adequately identified the area affected. In order for the copiers to create a file on a network server they need user names and passwords to access a network resource and they need sufficient rights to create a file. Have you tried to log into the scan folder on the server using the copiers credentials from a workstation?

The next step, of course is to identify what has changed. If you had a problem with a domain controller is it possible the user accounts for the copiers got deleted/damaged/modified?

Log into the internal web page of the copier by plugging its ip address into the address bar of your favourite web browser and verify that its network settings (dns server, domain name, etc) are correct. I believe you can ping the server from the web page as well, if not it can be done from the tcp/ip setup screen on the copier control panel.

There is no way to manually flush the DNS cache on the copiers except for powercycling the device, just make sure you are turning it off by the main power switch near the back of the machine and not the on-off button on the control panel.

I dunno if this qualifies as a solution or a clarification request but I would start with the user accounts and access permissions.

Canon mp470

DRIVERS ... first uninstall all the drivers, disconnect the device from the computer, shut down both devices, DO NOT CONNECT the Canon but start your computer. Let the computer run for about 10 mins. so that it has a chance to see that the Canon is not there. Shut off your computer and connect the Canon. Let your computer try to find the Canon but select YOU load drivers. Goto Canon web page, download latest drivers. MAKE SURE you look closely at the OS, etc....(x64) vs (x86) and also the # of the script drive. Know what driver you need for your system and download that wether it is #5, #5.1, #6,,etc...sometimes it will tell you on the device box. Download the drivers needed and install, you may be asked to restart your computer a couple of times, this is normal. Once all drivers are installed and computer is restarted for the last time ( as prompted), shut off computer and then start your system ( computer ) back up.

IR 2220i - change clock

Hello Debant2,
I believe on this model you go to additional functions (an asterisk looking button just to the left of the nine key pad) and this should give you a menu screen which will include a tab on the left that says timer settings. Press it and you should see where you can change the time. Take care. :-) .......SPINAL......

Scanner canon dr6030 cants pull the paper

Troubleshoot this issue step by step: Check the Feed Selection Lever: Ensure that the Feed Selection Lever (located on the lower left side of the front of the scanner) is in the correct position (up) for separation. Straighten the edges of the stack of documents to be scanned. Set the document guides so they are wider than the document to be scanned. Place the documents face up into the feed tray, ensuring they touch the document stoppers. Clear Any Jammed Paper: Be careful when removing jammed paper to avoid cuts. Remove any documents that have been left in the eject tray. Close the document eject tray. If the document ejection is stopped partway, perform this operation with the document eject tray extension open. Hold the upper unit as shown in the diagram and open it to the point where you can remove the jammed document. The pickup roller is located in the middle of the upper unit. Do not hold the protrusion on the upper unit when opening it, as it may deform the pickup roller or cause a feeding error. Close the feeder cover. If the jam occurred in the feed section, pull the document out carefully without applying too much force. Be sure to remove any torn parts remaining in the scanner. Close the upper unit slowly, ensuring it clicks into place. Do not force it to close, as this may damage the scanner. After removing the jammed paper, check if the last page was scanned, and then continue scanning. Rapid Recover System: If a paper jam occurs when the "Rapid Recover System" is enabled in the ISIS/TWAIN driver settings, the image of the document is not saved, and scanning stops. You can continue scanning from the document that caused the paper jam after fixing the issue. Additional Considerations: Make sure the pickup rollers retract when the machine is powered on. Check that the stopper plates are in the down position. Verify that the upper unit is completely closed after clearing the jam. Remember to handle the scanner components carefully to avoid damage. If the issue persists, consider seeking professional assistance or contacting Canon support for further guidance

How do I clean the printhead on a Canon P23-DH V printing calculator?

I would use a soft toothbrush and a little Isopropyl Alcohol and then a lint free cloth and then give another gentle brush. There are some other ideas here. I have a problem with my canon printer g3411. It has an error P03 but no paper jam. How do I solve my problem

Error P03 on a Canon printer typically indicates a paper jam, even if you cannot physically see any jammed paper. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Carefully check the paper tray and inside the printer for any jammed paper or debris.
  3. Remove any jammed paper or debris you find.
  4. Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
  5. Attempt to print again.
If you don't see any paper jammed in the printer, there are a few other things you can try to resolve the error P03:
  1. Try resetting the printer. To do this, turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.
  2. Check the ink cartridges and make sure they are properly seated and have enough ink.
  3. Clean the printer's rollers. Rollers are the small rubber wheels inside the printer that move the paper through the printer. Over time, dust, debris, or ink can build up on the rollers and cause paper jams. Cleaning the rollers can help resolve the issue.
  4. Try to update the firmware of the printer. Sometimes, a firmware update can resolve the issue.
  5. Check the printer's settings, ensure that the size of paper loaded match the size of paper set in the settings.
If the problem persists after trying these steps, you may want to contact Canon support for further assistance.

How to slove error e732-001 of canon ir 3225

The E732-001 error on a Canon iR 3225 indicates an issue with the fixing assembly temperature. Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve this error: Reset the Condition: Enter service mode by pressing the following sequence on the control panel: COPIER > FUNCTION > CLEAR > ERR. This will reset the error condition. If the message disappears, your printer is ready to use. If this doesn't work, there may be a hardware problem as addressed below. Replace the Main Thermistor: The main thermistor is responsible for temperature sensing. If it's faulty, it can trigger the E732-001 error. Consider replacing the main thermistor to resolve the issue. Check the DC Controller PCB: If the problem persists, inspect the DC controller PCB for any defects or malfunctions. Replacing the DC controller PCB may be necessary. Remember to turn off the printer before performing any maintenance tasks. If the error persists or if you need further assistance, I recommend contacting your local authorized Canon dealer or the Canon Customer Support Center for professional service
