Big Green Bar
Hi Tom017
Does this green bar show even when there is no signal inserted into the Projector ?
If it doesn't then you can try using a different cable - that should solve this for you.
If it doesn't then you might be in for a quite expensive Mainbaord repair or replacement.
Good luck and thanks for using Fixya !
My Canon LVS1 projector does
Check your setup options in the projector menu to be sure that you have Component Video enabled. It is possible that it is looking for another input.

hi
this sounds to me like the projector lamp is coming to the end of its life. projector lamps last about 1000 hours of reasonable quality, but if it gets turned on and off regularly then that number will decrease.
you might want to buy a new lamp if there not to expensive or maybe to into having it refurbished.
also dirt in the projector can decrease brightness. so maybe you could see if the manufacturer will clean it for cheap
hope that helped
My Epson PowerLite 1725 projector
im afraid that sounds like some dead pixels. and if thats the case then no a bulb wont fix it. call epson tech support and see if they will replace it for free.
The projectors is working but
try cleaning all the projection lenses wipe it with a soft cloth.check also the color wheel whether the are projected in accurate color .make sure the wheel spins at constant speed with no vibration..you need to open the case of the projector.replacing a new lamp will also help..

Hi there
Open up the unit and replace the fuse on the Powersupply ( where the AC inlet sits )
If this doesn't do the trick you will have to replace the Powersupply itself.
But most of the time it is only the fuse that has gone.
Canon LV-S1 New bulb but won't power up
Have you cleaned the filters? In this situation, the fan and power shuts down even before the bulb lights up and heats up the unit, but perhaps the unit can detect clogged filters.
You can download the manual
here if you don't have one. Instructions for cleaning the filters are on page 37.

Help
Hi there
Sometimes the lamp gets stuck because of all the heat from the lamp. Simply take a small flat screwdriver and lift it out.
I have a problem with my canon printer g3411. It has an error P03 but no paper jam. How do I solve my problem
Error P03 on a Canon printer typically indicates a paper jam, even if you cannot physically see any jammed paper. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Carefully check the paper tray and inside the printer for any jammed paper or debris.
- Remove any jammed paper or debris you find.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Attempt to print again.
If you don't see any paper jammed in the printer, there are a few other things you can try to resolve the error P03:
- Try resetting the printer. To do this, turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.
- Check the ink cartridges and make sure they are properly seated and have enough ink.
- Clean the printer's rollers. Rollers are the small rubber wheels inside the printer that move the paper through the printer. Over time, dust, debris, or ink can build up on the rollers and cause paper jams. Cleaning the rollers can help resolve the issue.
- Try to update the firmware of the printer. Sometimes, a firmware update can resolve the issue.
- Check the printer's settings, ensure that the size of paper loaded match the size of paper set in the settings.
If the problem persists after trying these steps, you may want to contact Canon support for further assistance.
