Midea Cube 20-Pint Smart WiFi Dehumidifier is stuck on 'Water Level 50%' even though tank has been emptied multiple times. How do I reset this?
If your Midea Cube 20-Pint Smart WiFi Dehumidifier is stuck on "Water Level 50%" even though the tank has been emptied multiple times, you can try the following steps to reset it:
- Unplug the dehumidifier from the power source and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
- While the dehumidifier is unplugged, remove the water tank and check for any obstructions in the water tank outlet or on the float switch.
- Clean the water tank with warm water and mild detergent, then dry it thoroughly before replacing it in the dehumidifier.
- Plug the dehumidifier back in and turn it on. If the water level indicator still shows 50%, try pressing and holding the "Water Level" button for 3-5 seconds to reset the sensor.
- If the issue persists, try performing a factory reset on the dehumidifier. To do this, press and hold the "Timer" and "Mode" buttons simultaneously for 3-5 seconds until the display panel shows "F". Then, press the "Power" button to turn the dehumidifier off, unplug it from the power source, and wait for 5-10 minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it may be necessary to contact Midea customer support for further assistance or to have the unit serviced by a professional.

THE MACHINE BLOWS BUT
Sounds like a refrigeration leak or the compressor isnt coming on. truthfully as cheap as dehumidifiers are it's probably more cost effective to buy a new one.

DEHUMIDIFER WONT START
empty the tank, and clean the dust off of the condenser in the front or clean the filter. if it still won't turn on, may have a bad sensor or a siezed compressor.

My Westpointe dehumidifier model MDC-25AEN3
Hi, from the explanation you have made so far about the dehumidifier, it seems also to me that you have a faulty humidity sensor which you probably need to replace.
You can reach Repair Clinic on 800-269-2609 to request for the part, they are into sales of parts....
