IRiver keeps loading and loading and ...
Just a thought, try removing the battery, then holding the rest button in for about 15-30 seconds, release it, then re-attach the battery, if that don't work, try removing the battery, then re-attach the battery while holding in the reset button, then release the button after about 15 seconds.
Konqueror?, That's a Linux based file manager/internet browser, is it on your PC or the iRiver? If it's on the iRiver, then the operating system is more likely Linux based, and removing the battery then re-attaching the battery while holding down the reset button, should!!! (not everything works as it should) reset the machine.

I'm not sure if you are familiar with www.misticriver.net. click on fourms then scroll down to the H3xx series then H3xx Series Support. You can find the best support there.
It sounds like your battery may have died. Check this thread: http://www.misticriver.net/showthread.php?t=34257 The battery is replaceable. Apparently MANY people have problems with the battery after one year of use.
My iRiver e200 does hang...and it displays "USB busy.. Do not Disconnect if I connect it to PC. And I cannot play my MP3s
Hi there! Well it sounds like the flash memory in your device has failed. This may not be the case. There is no way to say without testing and diagnostics, however if you can not access the files saved to the memory via the device(Playing the files) and the computer can not access that memory when connected, there is a strong possibility that your memory has failed. I am not sure the age of the device but it is well documented that all flash memory will at some point fail because it can only be read and re/written X amount of times(this is normal). Typically most devices will reach "EOL"(End Of Life), or end of use before the memory fails. The likely hood of recovering the files located within the inaccessible memory is very unlikely but may be possible. Replacing the memory chip in the device is possible but not feasible. I hope I have been able to help you today. Please if I misunderstood your question let me know so I can get you the appropriate help. Thank's Mr.Mike
