This thing doesn't use ink. It uses thermal transfer onto the paper. Meaning it burns the letters onto the paper. You probably got bad paper cartridge or wrong brand. Try inserting a new cartridge.

This doesn't use an ink cartridge. Only uses thermal paper cartridges. The unit burns the letters onto the paper.

Check to see if you installed the cartridge correctly. Also, try using a different cartridge.

No ink required. You just got bad tape cartridge. Replace with a new cartridge. This unit burns the letters into the tape.

Type your message, then press the size button, and then left arrow or right arrow to what size you want. Now press enter and then press print.

Replace with new batteries. Now press shift and delete buttons and hold until the screen is blank.

You can download a users manual from the product manufacturers website. Run a search. You should be able to find it that way. Then go to customer service and find the download area. Enter your product name and model number and download the manual there.

I had this, a small piece of label had got stuck behind the wheel, couldn't see it at first but with a bright light and a fine tweezers got it out. Check the drive wheel is turning if not you've probably got it jammed somehow. Also change the batteries, leave out a while and then replace. Also make sure the tiny lever on the top right is down (wont drive the tape unless down or the lid fixed back on)
