mcdevito75 here, If you mean the display where you see the time, Day, date etc. it will pay to replace the whole watch, these displays can be very expensive as they are the heart of the watch. Best Bet, replace the watch with a new one.

Press lower left hand button until you reach alarms may say snz or sig use the bottom right hand button to cycle through the options, to turn an alarm on or off press the adjust button top left you will then see off or on in the lower circle on the watch face. You most likely don't have the Daylight Savings Time (DST) set to AUTO mode. Just hold the ADJUST button until the time starts blinking. Then hit MODE and DST will show on the top. Hit RECEIVE as needed until you see AUTO in the bottom. Then just hit ADJUST 2 more times and you're set.

These instructions are actually for my Casio G-Shock MTG-900 but I imagine they're very similar for most G-Shock atomic watches.

if you just got the watch then I would take it back. Other wise you are going to have to send it in. None of the casio watches should run backwards. Call repairs and tell them what's going on. 800-706-2534 and then option 2.

Batteries in such devices are always flat side upwards. This is always the best advice though

mcdevito75 here, I would see the jeweler who installed the new batteries and ask to have the battery install double checked so they are makeing proper contact with the LCD movement. In the meantime you can try to hold down the MODE button for a few seconds and see if the display appears, also if the display screen has turned very dark, your Casio may have had it, as the LCD display could have gone bad. New batteries should bring up a display even after the watch has been stored. Hopefully the display is still a grayish color and the new batteries need re-alignment.

This is an old problem, but maybe this will help someone changing a battery on a Casio. Many Casio watches must be "zeroed out" by putting an pointed tweezers between the back of the battery and the AC terminal off to the side of the battery. On my old Casio Telememo 50, the AC terminal is in a very small hole just above the battery. On the Baby G force, it was in a wider opening, way at the edge of the watch. It has something to do with resetting the watches circuitry so it will operate again. Good luck!
