I cannot tune the radio
The only thing I could find in the manual that might possibly solve this problem, is a "reset".
From the manual:
Press the reset button on the
panel holder. (The clock setting
and preset stations stored in
memory are erased.) (See page
2.)You can get a copy of the manual
here. I hope this helps and good luck. Please rate my reply - thanks.

How do you remove an upside down cd from a car
1...Try and tease it out by using an old CD through the slot
2..If that doesn`t work then the player will have to be removed from the dashboard, the metal cover taken off and the CD extracted.
Make sure you have the security code BEFORE you pull out the player from the dashboard.
If you do not have the code
POST ANOTHER QUESTION quoting the radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL
the LETTERS+NUMBERS on ANY LABELS ,BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING
Also quote the MAKE of CAR

Jvc kd-sx770 car stereo--radio works, but cd player doesn't
Hello beeswing70,
The player is recognizing that a CD has been inserted but is not able to read it.
Sometimes the lens assembly becomes contaminated and obscures the laser. I'd try using a commercial "lens cleaning CD" two or three times and then try a CD again. These lens cleaning CD's are widely available. If cleaning does not help, the player need professional service.
Hope this helps.

No audio output from jvc cd receiver kd-sx770
The internal amplifier is at fault.
This will need to be repaired by a electronics repairman.
There is no end-user fix.
You may choose to, instead, use the RCA low level outputs and install a dedicated amplifier to power your speakers.
Verify the fuses on the radio are good, and that there is not a blown speaker causing the internal amplifier to shut down.
Thanks for using FixYa - a FixYa rating is appreciated!!

Headunit power problems
Hello dobbyville11,
It might be a few things but here is what i would check 1st, pull out the head unit make sure all the wires are pushed in all the way.
The second thing i would suggest is checking the connection to the battery and ensure that the ternimals are clean and a good connection is available.
If there is something else it might be that you hold down a button while it starts, I know of some headunits that need this.
Please post what you do and how you did it.
I look forward to your post.

Cd ejection
Look for a tiny, recessed Reset button on the front of the unit with the face removed. Press this button with a pen tip; it should spit out the CD and work correctly afterwards. This will also erase your station presets and audio settings.
