The DT is Dual Time Mode, I use it when on holiday in a different time zone. Another example is you could set it to the time in another country if you regularly phone family there.

I got mine from ebay. Its tough to install but I used a pen knife and a very small sdrewdriver. you can do it.

Hold the top left button down until you hear a beep and the seconds start to flash. Then push the bottom left button (7 times) until COL starts to flash above the seconds. At this point, you can use the 2 right buttons to scroll through the color options. When you're done, press the top left button to set and lock the color you've chosen. Hope that helps.

Hi anzprad,

Your mode button may be sticking, and not making proper contact into the switch on the movement. Try lightly spraying compressed air around the buttons, then, either electronic cleaner, or silcone spray around just the buttons. If that doesn't help, you may have water damage from moisture encroaching into the case from a leaky seal. Be sure to clean off any excess spray with a soft cloth.

You will need a pdf reader on your pc, you will find all instructions in there.

You probibly lost a little spring that goes into your movement that makes contact the curcit board and the back of your watch. It is VERY small and alot of people who change their own batteries don't even see it when they open their watch and it falla out . If I knew your address I would send you a couple. If you look at the back of yhe inside of your watch you will probibly see a hole with a LITTLE straight line comming off of it, that is where that spring goes. NOW you MAY not have grounded your watch, that could cause that to happen to. Open your watch and look at the back. You should see a AC marking. Take a tweezer or a metal object and touch the ac and the top of the battery.Then re-set your watch time. I'm hoping that is it, if not you need that spring.Let me know what happens, and if I can assit you with any other watch or jewelry problem.Also we at home are proud of you!!! Good Luck!!!

Time is not set correctly. You set the time as AM instead of PM and vice versa. Use the following manual to set time correctly. QW-5479 (casio.com)
