It might be that there is a "mute" command in the settings that needs to be turned off.

If you haven't got any instructions, you can get instructions from the Casio web site.

Go to the casio web site "casio.com".

Select "support" and the "manuals",
watches;

Accept terms

Select "watch manual archive"

Read the number of the back of your watch and enter it into the search box

are you referring to casio mtg900 if so do you mean the rubber part below the G button . If so I do believe casio sells that first link . You can call them if you would like to order it if they still have in stock or for a whole new band

you can see the parts store here

http://www.pacparts.com/model.cfm?CFID=3663724&CFTOKEN=19469938&mfg=CASIO&model_id=MTG900DA-9V&row_start=1&src_model_id=mtg-900&action=list_part

I believe the 12 h and 6 h are the parts you are looking for I am not sure what side you need 12 oclock or 6 oclock , but give them a call they should be able to help you out

the other company that handles watch parts is here

Go to casio.com. Go to the "Support" drop down menu and select "Manuals". Click on the "Watch Manuals Archive" link under Watches and make sure you "Accept" the Terms and Conditions of Use. Enter the module number located on the back of your watch casing. This should be a 4 digit number. You should find a .pdf copy of your owner's manual that you can print or download. I personally own a Casio G-Shock similar to yours, but with all watches, the features and functions are not the same. Your owner's manual will give you the definitive answers you need. I hope this helps you.

Timing signals are sent out between 0100 and 0600 hours, so perhaps waiting a little might solve your problem.

I had a similar experience with mine after I had the battery changed and it took a few days to get the time right.

Thanks all! My G-Shock was only in need of charging in direct sunlight as opposed to indoor lighting.

If it is only the pin that holds the metal band, this is an extremely inexpensive part that is available at most stores that sell watches.

sounds like it might not be getting enough sunlight. If it has the solar cell in it tape it to the inside of your window for a weekend. If it doesn't charge up the battery enough to make that bar quit flashing then you may need to have the battery changed.
