This sort of problem is usually caused by the fact that the watch is 12 hours out and can be solved by advancing the time 12 hours (the watch thinks it is midnight when it is actually mid-day) but the fact that yours changes at 5 p.m. and not 12p.m. is unusual.

Unless you are a night shift worker you could just wind it on 12 hours and accept it changes at 5a.m. Otherwise, speak to the maker with a view to getting a replacement under warranty, as it would seem that the watch has not been correctly assembled.

Hi, If you don't have the manual, Try this link:

Take the four-digit module number from the back of the watch, enter it, and download a PDF of your watch setting-instructions/manual.
I hope this helps you. Thanks, Bill

If you haven't got instructions on how to do this, you can get
instructions from the Casio web site.

Go to the casio web site "casio.com".

Select "support" and the "manuals",

Accept terms

Select "watch manual archive"

Read the number of the back of your watch and enter it into the search box

This part is called the bezel, you are correct. They are available to buy as a separate item for certain watches, but not all. You didn't mention what type of watch it was. Most major brands, like Rolex, Omega, Tag Heuer etc all sell bezels for their watches, brands though like Diesel, Rotory, Seiko etc, do not sell bezels as a stand alone item. Should you wish to let me know the make and model of the watch, I will see if I can obtain one, or failing that I will see if I have one that will fit.

sounds like repairer for got to AC watch they may have forgot to do this simple task...some times they also have 2 batterys one under the other.did you do it yourself re blog if you did and i will go through sequence

Casio Marine... | Answered on Mar 26, 2010

Speak to your local Casio dealer, it could be that the battery needs replacing, (some watches can need replacements if they have power hungry features which have been used frequently.

If this is not the case, then if there is anything wrong with the watch, then it should be repaired under warranty.

Use the four numbers on the back of your watch and you will have a PDF version of your instruction manual.

Hope this tip helps.

To reset the battery you need to locate the "AC" inside your watch. The AC terminal is a little metal spot (usually a circle and usually gold colored) on the inside of your watch. Looking at the inside of your watch the "AC" should be labeled, though it may take a magnifier to identify it.
It may be labeled simply "AC" or it may have an arrow pointing to it. Once you locate it use a pair of tweezer or a paper clip and touch the battery and the AC together for a few seconds and release; you may have to do this twice. This will reset your watch an give you the ability to correctly wet your watch.

To sync the correct 12 hour with your day you need to set the date to the day before (if today is 21, then make sure the day window reads 20). Then spin the analog hands until the the date window turns to 21. At this point your watch is reading 12 AM (midnight). Then keep turning to set the correct time. If it is 9 am then stop the hands the first time you hit the 9 marker. If it is 9pm, then keep turning until the SECOND TIME your hour hand meets the 9 marker. This is now set for 9 pm.
That's how you do it. If you need more clarification let me know.

I clipped a driver pin out of a safety pin and tapped the band pins out with the driver pin and a hammer. It helps to have someone hold the band on a hard place over a hole.
