I can't see a listing for that error on the 400 but it usually refers to a full journal memory on other models. Check your manual for the procedure to reset the electronic journal (maybe called EJ). You won't lose any programming or daily sales report info by resetting/ clearing the EJ so give it a try

I see this as having 2 options. a. buying the parts ..which shipping could eat up any savings or reasonable cost. b. purchase a second-hand one and use the roll arms from it. Graphical memory error, probably. You are using too many points (values ) of the x-variable. The step (increment) is too small.

Look for the DMS key (degree, minute second).

Your angle unit is set to radians, while on the other calculators it is in degrees. Change the angle unit to degrees.

You cannot. It is just a scientific calculator not a scientific graphing calculator.

From the original manual of the SF 4000 "If you forget your password, there is no way to recover it or to access the Secret data. You can only Reset to clear the entire memory and start again. To change an existing password, enter Secret mode and then press Clear and then the Secret key. The password XXXXX appear. Press Function then select 1 - Edit to edit the password, then press the Secretkey again when finished editing to save the change. To set a Tax Percent rate, first, turn the calculator OFF and then turn it ON. Press and hold the [%]key.

I rekon ya over load it now by bashing the ca button. try removing the battery, leave it out fer 5 minutes the put it back in then hold the power button down for 5 seconds for a hard reset and it it should be good to go...
