Model e601i-a3 TV. On the left side it's dim (flickers) and on the right side it's very dim or dark. What's wrong?

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts or search the site by type in the brand name of your set, at its search box at the right column.. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ https://elektrotricks.blogspot.com/

Visio Model E601I-A3 TV shuts off randomly. Is it a bad power supply board?

Does appear to be a PS issue.

Screen is black but I can hear sound.

Most likely the power supply board needs to be replaced. It could also be the backlighting. A few TV's have a separate power board just for backlighting, but not many. If you don't know what you're doing, DON'T OPEN THE TV UP TO FIX IT, THERE ARE HAZARDOUS VOLTAGES ON THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD, EVEN WEEKS AFTER THE TV IS UNPLUGGED! If you don't know how to do it yourself, find some local Electronic repair shops, get quotes, try to find reviews on the shops.

Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

What needs replaced? TV turns on then displays Vizio logo then shuts off and repeats over and over. Is this the T-con board or the power supply/led board?

Sounds like firmware corrupted. A firmware [software] update might be necessary. First, do a hard reset to this set, and check. If it do not help you, update the firmware. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Why won't it turn off using the remote or controls on the TV itself?

Check the remote control for its infra-red emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check by pressing all the buttons on it; and see whether all of it generates infrared signal while pressing. If it is found OK, check and replace the infrared sensor inside the TV. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It has details about how to check a remote control; by one among the post. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ If the remote control is found OK; check and replace the infra-red sensor inside the TV. Contact any service technician.

What parts do I need to fix in my Vizio e601i-a3 tv?

Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Vizio tv - plays fine and in color. hooked up phillips dvd player - all connectors connected correctly. when i play the dvd, it is only in black and white . . . not color. how can i get my dvd to

Which input on the TV and which output on the DVD player are you using? HDMI is the best and easiest. Next is standard video plus audio (3 leads, yellow - video, red and white - audio). If you are using the component input, you can get B&W if you have the leads incorrectly connected. If you're going from component to video in, you might have the same result, I'm not certain. I hope this helps you resolve your problem. Let us know.

The tv froze up while watching netflix and won't turn off or do anything

Sounds like the CPU froze. Unplug set from power completely, then plug back in, should work. If not then the problem will have to be solved by a repair technician.

Vizio V705-H1 started having display issues. The background seems okay but words have tracers.

Check Connections: Ensure that all cables connecting your TV to external devices (such as your cable box or gaming console) are securely plugged in. Loose connections can cause display anomalies. Test Different Devices or Apps: Try using other devices or apps with your TV to see if the issue persists. If the TV's menu looks fine but a specific device is causing trouble, that device might be the culprit. Adjust Picture Settings: Navigate to the picture settings by pressing the 'Menu' button on your remote. Experiment with different picture modes. Sometimes a minor adjustment can resolve display problems. Soft Power Cycle: Unplug your TV from the power source. Press and hold the power button on the TV for about 3-5 seconds (this helps drain any residual power). Plug the TV back in and turn it on. Some TVs also have a 'Soft Power Cycle' option in their settings menu, so check there too. As you have tried a reset, that takes us to the options of contacting Vizio support and/or your warranty.

Vizio all in one computer VIZIO CA-27 voltage and part number for subwoofer/power supply replacement

The power supply/subwoofer for the VIZIO CA-27 series all-in-one PCs is identified by the part number 715G6960-P02-001-002S or ADTVE1825AC71. The power supply connects to the motherboard via a proprietary dual jack Audio/Power cable. I couldn't find specific voltage details for the subwoofer/power supply in the available resources. For precise information, I recommend checking the user manual or contacting VIZIO customer support directly.
