JVC S-VHS Tapes (ST120SVDU2) S-VHS Tape Questions & Answers
How do i go about transfering vhs-c video from an
You have several options. But important one to understand is the limitations of a PIII computer like Armada e500. You may not have enough grunt to convert stuff, even after buying the necessary video capture devices which work on USB.
Also I am assuming you either have the jvc camcorder still available or atleast have a VHS-C to VHS adapter to play the tapes on a standard VHS tape player.
Unless you are having a lot tapes and need editing while converting, your better bet might be to go to one of the shops that convert these tapes on to DVD or a suitable flash drive which might work out cheaper and quicker.
The last time I did this thing (quality of my VHS-C tapes was bad) I bought a Samsung combined VHS Video / DVD recorder and used the dubbing feature to burn DVDs. Cost me about $150 a year ago. I was able to do some editing on the way as I was connected to the TV screen as well. Saved me the hassles of dealling with the PC type video capture devices and software.

My CA-DXT99 jvc component appears tray error
The fault could be the wrong alingment or the failure or displacement of the mode switch or sensors int he tray settings. If the trays set bacl after few times then you will have to check for dirr tin sensors or failure of the optocoupler sensors. However if the tay never sets right, then the mechanism has a wrong mode settting which might have happened as it jumped over. You will have to take the entire tray mechansim and set them. However this is quite tricky and you will have to set from the begining of the resting of the tray to the noemal setting of the cd drive mechanism. If you have not attempted this sor tof job I would not advice you as the logic settings of the tray must be thought of. However if you can try set the tray and use the load motor drive to trun externall and see that the mechanism works from the outside. If so set it back to the circuit and test. Please see if any tray has been damaged and will result in the same fault.Hope you do this right. Good day
Protective mode how do i fix it
sounds like you will have to get the audio ics replaced. it would be better for you to take it to someone with the tools to repair it. unless you have a solder kit handy..:)
I DONT HAVE INSTRUCTIONS FOR A JVC VCR HR-7665EA
Hi
This manual is no longer available as it is quite an old VCR unit. It is no longer listed in the general database. JVC maintain a number of archived manuals at this link
http://support.jvc.com/consumer/product.jsp?pathId=48&archive=true
You can browse the archived models to find one that is nearest your model and the general instructions for use will be the same. Alternatively if you contact JVC support from that link they will often oblige by emailing you the manual for your model from the non published archive that they maintain.
Hope this helps. Please remember to rate my answer. Many Thanks.
