No Power to Subwoofer (SP-PWC5)

The question is if the primary of the transformer is dead or the secondary? Or if something else has failed on the power board? What you can do is test around the board, using the meter with the earth lead connected to earth and see if you can see if there is any power anywhere on the board. If there is, the transformer must be good. And that either a regulator or other part (semi-conductor) has failed. Also check any big capacitors for trouble. Fuses only blow one there is a short. Something open circuit would not affect the fuse. But would kill the power.

How do I get a disc jammed out of my JVC theatre digital TH-C5 theatre system step by step?

I can't see any procedure for removing any disc. So your best option is to open the unit containing the disc up and remove it manually. If your lucky you should see a belt that will slide the drawer out. If you have doubts then take it to the nearest JVC repair shop.

I have the same problem, it appears to be the power supply board components defective. I think it is the power rectifier (diodes) that are at fault since the fuse is OK and there is no power at either of it,but I am not possitif yet since I do not have the wiring diagram of the board that I am looking for. Suggest you get some repair shop look into it. The problem appears to be in that area. Good luck. jam

Did ur techman checked the fuse?
Normally, that is the one first to be BUSTED before everything else?
If there are no POWER at all the POWER IC is the culprit, and check the DiODES!

Color movies playing in black and white??????

Maybe your Player in working on NTSC mode, try to change it to PAL mode. You can get this under display setting.

Make sure your television is also on Auto or PAL mode.

I believe it will work properly after you have done this.

Wish you the best.

I lost My cord for My System and need toreplace it

Isn't this just a mono RCA cable? Same as a standard audio cable? I use half of a car audio patch cable because they come very long.

JVC TH-C5 Solder 8 pin to sub circuit board

The best solution I could give would be to go on E-Bay and type "8 pin DIN" into the search, and just buy one. I just did. The price is higher with longer lengths, but it's worth NOT messing up the subs built-in amp by getting the pins wrong.

Dvd's play with horrible colors

How do you have the player connected? If you are using component video cables one is out or (very unlikely) broken.
If you are using the HDMI, try moving connectors (on each end) or try another HDMI input. The HDMI input could be bad or the connection bad.
If you are using the 75 ohm vhf input try another method of connection.
