On the Mintek remote control you have to make the proper selection. For example if you typically have to have the television on channel 3 to receive Comcast you would select 3.0 or 3-0 enter/select/ok
or 4.0 or 4-0 enter/select/ok

Perhaps the Comcast receiver will not come in on channel 3 or 4. In that instance you would need to select the correct input or video source. There should be an input or video button on the Mintek remote control as well. If there is an input or video button on the television itself please press it over and over again until you have landed on the right input.

The default password is '88888' (five 8s). Try inputting this default password when it asks you to input. Or you can go to the password reset/change menu and input this default password to remove the already set one.

Make sure the antenna lead / or from the cable modem / is plugged into the TV.

If this is not the fix, make sure that the leads from the DVD player are in the right place.

The leads from the DVD player go to the inputs on the TV.

check ur dvd's motor and roler system.. they r not wrking properly...

First use a dvd lens cleaner its a cd with small brush at the bottom,
This will clean the optical lens.
If it still freezes while playing cd it might be the optic lens was damaged and need replacement.
