Check all your speaker wiring. Plus make certain the speakers are in good working order, and that low ohm speakers are not connected to it. For example if the unit says 8 Ohm, don't connect 4 to 6 ohm speakers.
If that doesn't solve the problem there's a fault in the main power amp.
