What is an Adherent suffix

This is not a proper question. Are you asking what suffixes does "Adherent" take, or what suffixes does "Adherent" already have? I believe the answer to both might be "There aren't any." Adhere is a verb. Adherent is an adjective. If you want to pretend that adding "-nt" to adhere is a suffix, then I suppose it would have the meaning of "takes the form of" or "has the properties of." Adhere means "to stick to." Therefore, "adherent" could be "sticky."
