Locked appears when switching on player

i believe on this model from what i can tell from the fixya archives is that it has a slide lock. You should be able to slide a button that says "hold" and then it has 2 positions hold and unlocked. i cant confirm this as matsunichi has a new owner and no longer offers manual support on this product.
If you need further assistance please feel free to follow up with a comment and i will be here to assist you. If this assisted you please feel free to rate the comment. thanks and have a great day.

How do I safe music on my usb mp3 player? Do I

Dear venterhuisge,
I would recommend using Windows Media Player 10 or newer to sync with that type of mp3-player. However you can also just acces it as an (external) flash drive. (download WMP 11 HERE) Please tell me if you have Windows, and Vista/Windows 7 or XP. Because I can't help with Mac's.
Kind regards, FriskYR.

Matsunichi MF326-256 "locked"

I had same problem, after not using it for years and losing the instructions which I had downloaded in 2005.

Then I recalled that plugging my earphones in might unlock it, and it did. I also plugged it into my PC to add and remove some files (but I don't think that had anything to do with it,

Try it. I have to say this site hasn't helped me as no-one seems to know the answers and google didn't help either!

I'd still like to get the instructions again. In the mean time I will press the buttons and cross my fingers!

Matsunichi MF326 MP3 Player has locked itself

Im sorry to say it, but i'd just chuck it...there doesn't seem to be any solution, even when you contact Matsunichi. Must just be a random fault on the system, or a purposely done timer that means you have to buy another player after a certain perion of time??? Could be a good method for the company to get more money in the market...Thats what i think anyway

MF326 play

Try increasing the volume. If it still does not work, then your jack is dead. There is not a repair service for these, so you will have to replace the player.
